The people of Cheshire are uniting against Dementia

On behalf of Alzheimer’s Society I would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to the many local residents who united against dementia by supporting the Cheshire Memory Walk.

Across Cheshire around 21,325 people are living with dementia and 850,000 are affected UK-wide.

Unemployment in Tatton down again

The number of people claiming out of work benefits in Tatton has fallen again in the past month – as national unemployment levels hit a 43 year low.

According to the Office of National Statistics 420 people were looking for work in July down from 440 the previous month.
