Voice Box Joke Competition
To raise awareness of the importance of communication amongst children and young people the Royal College of Speech and Language has joined with the National Association of Head teachers to run this year’s annual Voice Box Joke competition.
Last year, at the national final at Westminster I joined one of the pupils of Whitley Village School who had been shortlisted by the panel of judges. It would be great to see another Tatton primary school pupil In the final again next year.
Once each school has found a winning joke they should submit it to the RCSLT by 30 November. The RCSLT’s judging panel will then shortlist the best entries to go through to the Grand Final at Westminster, London, next year. Full details and a toolkit for schools can be found on http://www.givingvoiceuk.org/voice-box/voice-box-england-scotland/.
